WBLL coming this Fall 2026

After six successful years of the Bluegrass Lacrosse League, L4 Lacrosse is excited to announce the launch of the Women's Bluegrass Lacrosse League (WBLL).

Since its inception, the Bluegrass Lacrosse League has become a fall tradition for boys' lacrosse players across Kentucky. Every year, players fr

om all over Louisville, Lexington, and even Indiana & Ohio come together to compete, improve, and grow their love for the game.

Now, it's time to create that same opportunity for girls.

The Women's Bluegrass Lacrosse League is designed to provide a competitive, developmental, and positive environment where players can continue to improve during the fall season while building relationships with athletes from across the region. Using a fast-paced Sixes format, the WBLL emphasizes player development through more touches, more decision-making, and more opportunities to compete.

Our goal has always been to grow the game of lacrosse in Kentucky. The Bluegrass Lacrosse League has become something players & coaches look forward to every fall, and we're excited to build that same tradition for girls. Whether you're an experienced or Intermediate player, we want the WBLL to be a place where every athlete can develop, compete, and enjoy the game.

As girls' lacrosse continues to grow throughout Kentucky and the surrounding states, L4 Lacrosse hopes the WBLL will become a cornerstone of that growth by providing meaningful opportunities for players, strengthening the local lacrosse community, and helping elevate the game for years to come.

Registration for the inaugural Women's Bluegrass Lacrosse League is now open, and L4 Lacrosse looks forward to welcoming the next generation of female athletes to what it hopes will become a new fall tradition!
